Jamie West

Coach West has been a track and field coach for the past 16 years. Coach West hurdled in High School and went on to hurdle at a D1 University, Weber State. Coach West has spent the last 16 years as both a head track coach and hurdle coach at 3 high schools. 

In high school and college, she made it onto multiple all time lists as well as set her High’s school record in the 100m, 55m, and 60m hurdles. She was a 2-time state champion in the 100m hurdles. 

Coach West has enjoyed coaching hurdlers from all over the State of Utah, as well as other states, and internationally. In 2021 she coached India's U23 National Champion in the women's 400m hurdles. 

She has coached 5 State Record holders; 2 in the 60m hurdles, 1 in the 55m hurdles, 1 in the 110 hurdles, and 1 in the 300m hurdles. She has also coached 13 individual state champions and 56 state placers in the hurdles (placed top 6). 

She loves to teach hurdlers and push them to their best achievements!
