Terry Reese is a 4-year letterwinner at NC State from 1986-89, who went on to coach 19 years (1992-2011) at his alma mater in the sprints, hurdles and relays. He had tremendous success during his tenure, as he coached numerous ACC Champions as well as NCAA All-Americans.
During his days running for the Wolfpack, he earned ACC honors in the 55m hurdles indoors, and All-America 110m Hurdles outdoors - holding school records in both events. As a professional, he was ranked in the world and placed 3rd in the 1997 USA Championships, earning a spot on the World Championship team in Athens, Greece where he finished 6th.
Terry is currently a private coach in North Carolina, as well as the hurdles coach at Southeast Raleigh High School, where he has coached multiple State Champions, as well as National Champions in the hurdles - most recently Dillon Leacock (2021) - 300 Hurdles - 36.53 (NC State Champ) & 400 Hurdles -
